Yes Alisha, often people who struggle with PTSD do experience "breaks" where they feel more in control and almost as if they no longer even have PTSD. Well, I don't know why that happens, but just enjoy the breaks when you get them, the PTSD symptoms do return, especially if you get triggered for some reason.
Just keep working on yourself in therapy, continue being very patient with yourself too.
