When you say 'mania' -what is your experience of this? Typically, it would be a mood that would last for days, weeks, months, and it sounds like you experienced something that lasted less than a day. Everything you've been diagnosed with, BPD, PTSD, and anxiety can cause frequent mood swings, and more frequent than what is typical of bipolar disorder.
Instead of labeling it (mania, etc.), I would write down in your chart (if you're not already) exactly what it is you are experiencing, what you're feeling, what precipitated it, how long it lasts, etc. I think bringing this specific information to your pdoc could be very helpful. All of your diagnoses involve intense moods (and anxiety, with the possible agitation, insomnia, etc. that can come along with it, can mimic hypomania), so it's going to be difficult to parse out in your case. Best of luck!
