I've just had a brief email from my depressed boyfriend, who I hadn't heard from since Saturday.
His email was brief and cold, saying he hadn't made any decisions what to do in the future yet, and that he was trying to get the money for the bike back quickly so he could pay me my half.
I gather he is still holed up in a motel room. His cell phone is still turned off, so he is not ready to face the world yet.
On the positive, at least he is alive and hasn't done anything stupid. Hopefully I've re-opened the lines of communication.
I emailed back saying it was great to hear from him, I'm glad he's ok, that I'm here for him, that I won't give up. I also asked him out on a 'date' Thursday evening.....no reply as yet.
