Well I went to county mental health today and was told that they can give me therapy but they only provide psychiatrists if you are BP I with history of hospitalizations and arrests, Schizophrenic, or psychotic. So I can bug my primary care doc to send a referral for a specialist if I really want to pursue help. But essentially mental health won't do anything for me unless I am ready to kill myself or something.

It could take months to get into a pdoc, I don't know if I should even bother. I'm super depressed but not suicidal so it is hard to know what the right thing is. Not even sure I want to go back on meds. I need to function right now but no one will help me right now, so frustrating!
