questions....I read your past posts. you have a home, 2 dogs and 3 cats, you take medications for your bipolar so I'm assuming you have a doctor or psychiatrist that you see and is prescribing these meds, .....and you have a child. am I right is assuming you, your child, your 2 dogs and 3 cats eat, you and your child are wearing some sort of clothing and possibly foot wear....
my point is to have all these things it takes money... money to go buy food, clothing, pay your rent or own your home (in which case you pay taxes) food and clothing for your child and pets, have meds, see doctors.
another word for having money to do these things...it doesnt matter if someone is giving a person the money, whether they are bartering for it or have a job and getting paid its still called ...income.
Medicaid program is based on all kinds of things including the income and bills from what I posted above... it should say in your denial of medicaid letter why you were denied and how to appeal/reapply.
to answer your question.....no, when I needed medicaid for a short time, I had no problems getting it.
