Yoda is right. you can't change him but you can change yourself. this reminds me of having a very young male horse once and he became excited in the walkway of a barn and knocked me down..trying to get to another horse. an old wise friend told me to get him "fixed" immediately because the cuts would look better on him than me........i know this is a rather strange way to compare your situation to me, but it was true. waiting around until he really hurt me badly would have been a very foolish and perhaps deadly thing to do. it could be the same with you. good luck, pat
