You're not alone here! Save to say this thread is proof that a lot of us do this. I do it all the time, but it depends on my anxiety levels and sometimes, I'm not even aware I am doing it until someone tells me "Stop!".
I don't really think I feel anything after anymore, though... it's just become a "thing" for me. Which I guess could be considered a negative... but eh, I think I'm alright.
