I do not get how improving social skills and the fear of losing your family relate to one another. Can you elaborate? Also, since you have only made 20 posts so are a novice, I want to make sure you know that there is a forum on this site for Anxiety, Panic, and Phobias, which is pretty active, and another forum on Avoidant PD, which is not active, but might be worth exploring.
