Just wanted to tell everyone (especially those that have posted here) that it's letters, emails, and phone calls, like you've made, that are part of what makes teaching wonderful. Seldom do people say thank you in this day and age, and knowing you made a difference to someone is a wonderful feeling. It makes all the endless meetings, irate parents, and administrative drama fade away.
As a teacher, thank you.
