You had such great years and such alot of them, how could you not miss them? Sounds like they are up there together. I too am a cat lover and have lost before. Its incredible heart wrenching pain. I too think the same way about my current furboy. I know how hard it is to keep going but obviously as you are such a sensitive soul and truly love these beings that cant talk for themselves..you must stay and do good work.
