Loneliness is hard. I feel for you and what you are going through. I've been there. Hold on to the memories of times with the people you care about, and the confidence that they will come again. Now is hard, but it's not a life sentence. You are going through a lot at this time with the big adjustments you are making by moving, etc. With time you will overcome the challenges. The time just seems long when you are alone.

I'm not the best one to give advice on making new friends, because I'm not good at it. But there are constructive ways to meet people. Take a dance class or other adult extension class, e.g. Maybe someone else on the forum will have better advice.
