I hope that your sister's tests show better results than you're fearing. MS can be a real bear to treat, but it typically has relatively slow breaks downward. I've personally known and cared for those with severe MS ~ the patients do adjust to the differences in their lives. It takes some time, yes, but adjustment & acceptance do come relatively soon.
