Today was definitely not a good 'driving day' for my family. We got a call from my dad after he got off work saying that his car died, so my sister and I drove nearly 30 minutes to jump the car and almost ran out of gas ourselves. Then on the way home it quit working 3 more times, once in the intersection of rush hour traffic! We had to push it to a gas station in the dark and cold. My mom and I had an appointment to get to so, we had to leave our dad by the side of the road while my sister dropped me off at home. Then my mom and I took our van to our appointment and the hood of that vehicle started to smoke uncontrollably. Turns out we have a leak in the radiator. I don't often feel the need to be rich, but it's days like this when I can't help but feel a little money hungry. Our vehicles aren't that bad or old, but I wish someday soon we can get rid of them and replace them with better ones. I'm tired of always having to fix and replace some sort of junk items that we have because we can't afford to get the better quality ones. Yes, I am turning green with envy today.
