(((Demeanor))),
It sounds like you are in "shock" and your mind doesn't know "what" way to react about this situation. However, what you did was right, you didn't end up hurt and you reported it and the police "did" find the two men that held you up.
Hmm, they didn't find your purse or any of your things from your purse? Maybe they riffled through it and got whatever money you had and threw it out the window. But they "did" have your boyfriend's cell, so that is evidence that they "did hold you up and took from you". Someone should be trying to trace the route they feel they took and see if they can find your things on the ground somewhere, could even be in the woods if there were any they had passed.
It sounds like your boyfriend is in shock too, that event probably really frightened him and he is responding with trying to "sleep it away". Some people have that reaction, they are hoping they will wake up and find the trauma just didn't happen.
I really think the both of you should see a therapist and "talk this event out" and take the time to help your brains "settle" with it so you don't begin to mentally go down the wrong direction.
Remember, the two of you are "ok", the police have the people who did this, and you are "going to change your locks and do whatever you need to self protect".
(((Hugs)))
