April, because it's my birthday and the weather is at least contemplating spring (relative to northwestern Wisconsin, mind you) -- I love it when everything is new and green and flowery and blossoming. Of course, it can still snow in May here....

May because it's my son's birthday and although I may never recover completely from the trauma surrounding all that, I'm glad he's walking around on the planet and on his way to doing good in the world!
