I am going to be 44 on October 4th. I was diagnosed as being bi-polar quite a few years ago and around the year 1994 ended up with a hospitalization that lasted for almost 2 months. At that time I was a very rapid cycler and my cycles have slowed down a lot since then. I was on Abilify but the side effects outweighed the benefits and I was taken off of it. I have been in a depressive state for about 3 days now but my head still will not turn off. My thoughts jump so quickly from one thing to another that at times I could not even tell you what I am thinking. I have much worse racing thoughts during Hypo-manic and Manic phases but this is still really bad. Is there anyone out there with this experience who has some advice for me? I really need help badly. My counselor has not returned my phone call and my appointment with my psychiatrist is not for another month. Please Help Me.
