It takes your body a bit of time to adjust to your medication (couple of weeks to a month), be patient with it and if the side affects are to hard to deal with after waiting a while, you should talk to your pdoc. I never got headaches, but lamictal gave me a lot of f*cked up nightmares for a couple of weeks. Not everyone experiences that so don't be alarmed, but if you do find that you are developing nightmares, lamictal is most likely the source.
