So I was just prescribed Xanax, and I would like advice on this drug. What should I prepare for? If I'm having a panic attack, how will I feel after taking this and how long does it take to kick in? What are some warnings you'd like to give me? I'm serious about drugs, so that's why I'm asking about this.

I have a question, which will be after this story.

So I told my dad I need something fast acting for panic attacks, instead of making an appointment, my dad called the drs office. My dad talked to the nurse of my dr, asking for something that will help panic attacks. The nurse said he will send the request to the dr. Within a week, the dr called and approved the drug, then he sent the prescription to the drug store. The drug he prescribed me was Xanax.

Is this how it is normally? Like is it this easy?

Also, this isn't technically Xanax, it's alprazolam. But for the easiness, can I just say Xanax? Like if I'm telling someone what I'm taking, I don't want to have to say I take alprazolam, because I can barely spell it, let alone say it.

Oh, and I have another question. Like, can I carry a pill of Xanax with me in a little baggy for emergency use like at school or wherever? I realize its illegal to have it without a prescription, but I'd have a prescription at my house.
