Rainbowz, sleeping with an X seems to be a fairly frequent occurrence. I'm no shrink, so I'm not going to try to pretend I know why we do this, but you are certainly not alone in that impulse.

Please try not to beat yourself up for this or for why your ex left. I internalize these things, and I think a lot of us at the forums are the kind of super-sensitive people who do.

Be nice to you. Imagine how you would treat yourself by kind of stepping outside yourself, and looking at everything that has happened as if it were your very best friend. I bet you would be kind and understanding if this was happening to someone else.
