When my ptsd was really bad I would sleep 12-16 hours/day and then smoke weed and listen to music when I was awake. That went on for a couple of years. It was an escape from the pain of the trauma I had suffered and its tragic end. I still tend to sleep a lot in the weeks leading to the anniversary of my BF's traumatic death.
