I know I'm not the only one who does this, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
It's like my brain is pre-programmed now that if I'm going through stressful times in my life, my brain screams EAT!!! EAT MORE, IT'LL MAKE IT BETTER!!!...
But, it doesn't. Ever. Logically I know afterwards that hey, that was stupid but in the moment of extreme stress I can't seem to tell myself to go for a walk, or something besides CHEESEBURGER.
Any tips for overcoming this? I had lost 70lbs, but life kind of got insane on me, and I dealt with it poorly, so now I've gained it all back, and feel sluggish and gross again.
