I really really have my doubts any one is ever sure u have BPD. I read a piece by professionals that examine the differences between bipolar and bpd, and how so many professionals are fooled. Indeed there are some out spoken critics who still claim there is no such thing as bpd. Granted they are the minority in the profession but they do present a fierce argument! Statistically speaking a significant number of bipolars are actually bpd, and a significant number of bpd are actually bipolar and when a pdoc can't really decide guess what? they diagnose u with both lol.

Here's my story and I'm sticking to it. ABout 20 years ago I was diagnosed with major depression which soon was upgraded to bipolar until recently with the recent popularity of bpd I became bpd. While I certainly do fit most of the criteria and enough to qualify for sure, I lack self harm and I am not needy or clingy. In fact I depart from bpd with some aspd traits. Yet I am bpd lol. As I've said in other threads here. Take what they give u and work with it, but don't place too much weight in it as it is only professional guess.
