I do hit the pillow and am out for the count. But there are just too many dreams going on. Some are just dreams, while sometimes they become nightmares.
I took Seroquel to help me sleep, but while it may get me into the deep sleep, it sedated me too much the next day

I have been suffering from the same thing for about a month now. It is nothing new to me and happens sporadically. I usually wake up between an hour into sleep to every two hours. I have vivid dreams of my grandmother who past a few years back and for some reason the dream takes place in her home. No matter the scenery the house is always somewhere in the dream. Her son, my uncle, is another I dream of. Not as much as my grandmother though. I am struggling to find a way to get a good nights rest.
I wish I could take something to help put me in a deep sleep but I have my son to take care and I would just feel horrible if he could not wake me up. With the medications I am currently on, it took about 2 years to get leveled out and on a schedule to where I could go on 8 hours sleep and make it through the day. Before that, I was sleeping 12-16 hours a day and at that time my mother helped me during the day with my son.
I read and find all kind of natural solutions to help remedy this. They just don't work for me however. I am curious as to how others may handle this similar problem.
Thanks for starting a good thread sugahorse1 hugs to you also
