Good questions.
Lately I've been realizing that what I truly want in life is balance. Often the extreme ups and downs of everyday life makes it seem like I am living on a constantly moving see-saw. I want to be able to more effectively accept and deal with those ups and downs, and to find a middle ground - just...being, just...living in the moment I suppose.
Balancing priorities is also important. I tend to pick one category of life - say, my career - on which to intensely focus, and everything else goes down the drain. Why not tend to each of them, not always equally perhaps, but in a way where I can feel content?
A lot of the time I want to be perfect (working on telling myself that is a myth), and I think if I can't be perfect, or if I can't be good - why try? In my head, it is either perfection or nothing. I know there is a middle, a grey area. That's what I am trying to find.
