I'd tell my doc. I'm currently dealing with seeing fleeting images, starting "out of the corner of my eye" but sometimes progressing into my center of vision. Mine is just grey though, more like an illusion. You describe yours as more complex - that sounds more like a hallucination. I've done a lot of reading on it tonight alone - lol.
