I agree - it's not wrong to wait. Are you engaged? I have some friends who got engaged, but held the wedding off 2 years. Thing with engagement, is that the inlaws get involved, and you get a better taste of if you're 100% sure or not - I agree it can take time to know someone but the engagement process will ALSO help you gain some perspective. That being said, this is advice my mother gave me once ... I've never gotten engaged myself so take my thoughts with a grain of salt!
