have you tried heat or ice (sometimes one works where the other doesn't)
I know it may not sound like much but sometimes it is worth trying at least while you wait for your appointment

I don't know your med brands over in the US to know the ones you are mentioning

I've just been through the run of neurologists, head scans etc as well so know how hard it is finding answers and help
