Rattz,

I grew up in a very loving, supportive atmosphere. Yet, I found I was angry much of the time and never knew why. I used "dry humor", witty remarks and belittling people as a way of expressing my anger. I thought that was a socially acceptable way to act. I found it is not. Recently my outbutst were threatening my job and I had to do something. I started meditating. It has done wonders for my outlook and peace of mind. I bought a CD for mindful meditation and use it every morning. I also bought a CD on stopping anger that I use often. I find things do not bother me the way they used to. I no longer react in anger. I am more rational and without dieting I have lost 6 pounds. Even my doctor noticed a difference in the way I acted and wanted to know what I was doing.

There are a number of CD's available on line for meditation, anger management and guided imagery. They have them for alcohol dependency and overcoming a history of abuse as well. If you have the money and a CD player I suggest you look into them. It certainly won't hurt.

Pivate message me if you want the titles of the CD's I use. The meditations are about 8-15 minutes and set a positive tone for the whole day.
