I don't know whether I believe it or not. You need to politely tell them you will not be on medication and you do not want to discuss it again. It's your choice not to use medication. However they can choose not to work with you. I would suggest explaining to the head of the counseling center your wishes and working directly with the head of the counseling center. The reason I suggest working with the head is because s/he has the final say in your treatment.
