I'm sorry you're hurting. Sciatica is painful.

I don't know but I don't think it would qualify a person for SSI. Sciatica is not uncommon and is treatable. What is your doctor doing for yours? Did you have an MRI to see why nerves are being pinched? Are you taking anti-inflammatories or some other medication to help? Were you given exercises to do to relieve the pressure on the nerve(s) affected?

You may need additional medical attention if you aren't getting relief from what was prescribed for you. Make sure you keep in touch with your medical doctor and let him/her know if you continue to have pain.
