pegasus, think of it as "practice." I had a good friend who use to tell me, "it will be good for you in later life" (and we'd laugh because everyone hates hearing such things). But I seriously tried to put a good spin on the little things that went wrong in therapy like that; you can't see how things affect you unless they do. I use to live in books so it took me a long time to get use to "reality" and learn that I can cope with the things that go wrong day-to-day and get so they don't bother me so much. We can't keep things the "same" no matter how hard we try so learning to get along with change by having "controlled" change like a missed session or two, helped me.
