How do you mean 'opposites in their beliefs'?
Which beliefs do you have in mind?

That was interesting about the Latter Day Saints. I'll admit that I really know very little about them. There was a temple and a community based around the temple back home. A college and stuff. I remember people used to go out there to look at the christmas decorations which were very pretty with the temple all lit up. People used to go out there to find out about their family history too, because geneology is important to the faith and so they kept extensive geneological records.
