Hello I hope things are a little better for you at this time. I would suggest as well to go see a Dr to rule out any physical problems, like thyroid being slow or some other physical ailment that may be causing the depression, and then go to a Psych Dr if the reason is nor medically based. I suggest the Dr because some depression, can be linked to thyroid problems, anorexia, and so forth. I really feel you should tell your parents, since depression can be a chemical imbalance and you need medication sometimes in order to correct the imbalance of the chemicals of the brain. Depression is manageable with the right help and medication. I am also going to leave you 2 hotline numbers to call for young people for depression 1-800-621-4000 and 1-800-448-3000 also you may call 1-800-273 TALK if you would like someone to talk to in person. I hope the best for you and I hope you get the help you need and deserve soon so that you can feel better, and live a more productive life. Take care Sincerrely Soidhonia
