I have always resented having to wast so many years of my life on paid work.
I sucks that the expectation is for you to waste your youth working and only when you reach middle to old age are you allowed to re-claim your life as your own.
On the flip side, I have had periods of unemployment and I must say that sitting around doing nothing much is also not good.
Right now I work from home on a part time basis and I do enjoy it but I'm not making enough money so I have no choice but to supplement this income with a job outside of my home and I'm already stressing. In addition to getting bored easily, I can't stand having to deal with so many different personalities that one runs into at a job.
