Sometimes I like waiting. It's good for the imagination. If I wait in public areas I like to watch the people and guess how they are, where they are going ect. I make up little stories about them. Waiting is also a realy good time to see the beaty in the little things. It takes a lot of effort to see it, but I like looking around for something beautiful, or something happy. Some places are just extremely uninspirering, so a usually carry a book and some music in my backpack.
Sometimes if I wait in a new place I like to walk around and see what the place is like, it usualy calms me down to see what kind of place I'm in.
I also carry dry bread in my backpack because in a lot of places there are birds you can feed.
I thought the postcard thing was a great idea .
