Due to Pat's, "faverody" posting about how we can't have world peace without first having family peace I called the mother, the woman who gave birth to me and had a long talk, I avoided any conversation about who did what and saw her in the "now". I didn't speak with the father, my father but I also know he is frail and on oxygen.

I don't have feelings for them, meaning love, sadness etc. But they are connected to me so I will let the peace start here, with me.

You know that part of me would not be able to do this in the past due to fear factor. However, we are here now and I can move on and not have their words or deeds hurt me anymore.

I can share this with the world and be peaceful and loving to people in my real world.
