I tried lamictal about 2 years ago. It was the only med that I have ever had (and I have had quite a few )where the side effect I experienced was too much for me to handle.

Shortly after I started the dose pack my pdoc gave me, my body began to ache.....I mean REALLY ache. I think I got to the 100 mg a day dose and finally gave up because of the body aches. I am not quite sure if that is listed as a possible side effect but my body aches did go away after I stopped it.

I was very disappointed that I could not continue with the med, because I had heard great things about it. I hope it works for you!!!
