I have a facebook/instagram friend that posed a pic of her "mood changing" nail polish. Her comment, as her polish was 2 different shade of blue today was, "Mood changing nails. Does this mean I'm bipolar today?!"
Maybe I'm just being sensitive because I'm in a crappy mood, but I don't find that funny at all. Of course, all her friends are LOLing about it, but I just want to tell her to STFU as she has NO IDEA what it's like to be bipolar. People think making jokes about MI is a way of de-stigmatizing it, but to me it's just offensive.
Thoughts?
