I won't get properly mad about it, but I will point out that it's insensitive and incorrect. If you wanted bipolar nails, then one half should be black and the other half way - as then they are two polar opposites, which is what people tend to mean.
People don't need to know if I'm dealing with an issue or not - I always point out things that have to do with mental illness or other insensitivities. Just like a "In case you're wondering..." thing.
Even if they ignore it or get mad; at least I tried to help them understand something.
