Dont leave until you have something else lined up or reduce your hours and fill the gap with another place ready to jump ship if you feel you must because why should you stay in a negative place for hours per day? Thats the extreme scenario. I have a better idea    ....you can buy stainless steel food storage cannisters with clip tops, this clip can be padlocked...padlock the cookies inside it!!! They are in fact stealing and you are stopping them taking the stock. This is what I would do and Im not joking. There will be no more need for talking it out with them then. You can smirk all day! Yes, the place I work at isn't too professional. I am planning on starting to look else where around the beginning of Spring. I do see this as a good way to adapt to misbehavior and ways to become more assertive. It shows that I need to work on my anxiety too. I just need to come up with more assertive comebacks. These people do not seem too happy. Life is not perfect by any means and that's why people need to learn to live it. Most do not accept that. Just like I do not need to yell at them about their misbehavior. I need to speak up.
I did like Perna's response on saying "I see you" when I catch them in the freezer. I'll get into more detail on how I am making them for the residents not co-workers too when I do catch them.
The sad part is that I work to bake the cookies before the two guys come in to work so they will not bother take them when I'm working right by them.
My question is do you have a response to people who complain and say bad things about others like that a person is or was stupid or so on? I did put a comment I could say on my response back to Perna.
