The fact that a lawyer has stuck with you and got you to this point seems an indication for hope that your claim could get approved. From what I learned going through the process, myself, a lawyer won't even get involved with you, unless they see a strong case. (They get paid nothing for their work, unless you win.)

Let us know what you hear.

Also, from what I read, their can be a lag between when the judge makes a decision and when the judge communicates the decision.
