My T is in a counseling group and there's a locked door (locked on the outside) to the hallway where the T's offices are. She comes out to call me and carefully closes the door behind us...she takes forever. I'm always to nervous to awkwardly stand there waiting for her so I bolt back to the comfort of her office.
The whole thing is kind of weird but I'm used to it now. I think she actually offered for me to go first when I first started coming anyways. And she's always had me go first as we leave her office too. Now that I think of it, it feels kind of weird always having her behind me. Maybe I'll try and walk with her from now on.
