I have really only just discovered meditation. I had it pushed on me a lot over the years but everytime I did a tape or tried on my own I got so anxious about the breathing, they were all so focused on the breathing. I'd usually end up having a panic attack (embarassingly).
The mindfulness body scan cd was the first one that didnt make me freak out. I did get a little anxious a few times during it but the more I do it the less anxious I get so I am trying to do it every day. Then the mindfulness yoga - well I just seemed to get it! I went with it and let myself be relaxed, it was lovely.
