That seems to sum it up, pretty well. The thing is, seeing the appropriate doctor and discussing symptoms. Let them, considering, with medical charts in hand, what the next course of action needs to be. My PDOC, if I recall, wanted to know, if I was in talk therapy. Which, I was, when I first started seeing him. And, which, I am now, currently. Since, I've been a patient, of my pdoc, I have gone from a psychologist, as a therapist, to a social worker(LISW), due to insurance coverage changes, a few years ago.
Seeing a talk therapist, whilst, under med treatment, is a plus. Shows, that you are working on whatever it is, that you are dealing with, for a MI diagnosis. And not just, in there, for the meds, so to speak.
