Hello World,

I have a question for anyone out there living with Bipolar.
I have recently found my first Love and he daid he has been diagnosed to be Bipolar.
It has been exciting to be able to keep in touch for the last two weeks. I don't know if anyone out there can relate but this has been one of the moments in my life that I have been wating for, for the last 15 years. Of course my mind has been racing from one extreme of emotions to another as to wether we can be together again. I do not know much about being Bipolar but all I can think of is that I still care very much about this man. Does anyone out there have any opinions as to wether I should get involved with this man. He is a good person I just wonder if I will know how to handle all that it entails. All that I know about being Bipolar is only what I have learned on this site ! So please help

As to personal experience:

My fiance is Bi-Polar. Sadly, That is not the only thing she has. While making use of the website I mentioned above, read anything you can on 'setting boundaries' because, you will need to set them. One of the biggest problems my fiance has, is, 'projecting' her problems on to me. This is her way of not taking responsibility for her own actions.
