I think just the fact that you tried the grounding stuff is great! Tell your T that you gave it a try but found yourself getting angry and wanted more support in working on those skills. Just be honest with your T and tell her what you wrote here. I don't see anything that says "I didn't want to do this" or that indicates you're trying to sabotage or be non-compliant. I just see that you're confused about what you're supposed to be working on and how to best make it work for you.
