You can drink something hot before you go to sleep, just not coffee. You probably tried that already. Went down to a tea man (don't know what they are called..lol) asked for a good tea for sleeping he gave me this, and I got the recipe from him (which I'm probably not supposed to pass on, but I will anyway because I too hate not sleeping) Well anyways it helps me. And sometimes well there's nothing to do but wait until you fall asleep. sleep will come.
Tea made from:
3 parts root from Valerian
3 parts balm (melissa)
2 parts chamomile
3 parts hob
1 part linden flowers
3 part st johnswart
