My friend from down south wants me to be her roommate when she moves to my state. She will inherit a house in a really nice town which sounds like a dream come true if you know my living situation...but, I have disabilities. I have no idea what I should tell her about the living situation. I'd love to move in with her (and my boyfriend) to a nice home, but what will I do during a manic episode? How could I possibly hide it? If I say I don't want to move in she will take offense to it and not understand why. She's not a super close friend and she doesn't know I have a whole bunch of stuff wrong with me. Most people think I'm an over achiever with quirks so if I tell her I have bipolar I don't know how she will react. She was one of the popular girls in high school so she likes to gossip, go out for drinks, etc. If it was with someone else this would be so perfect, but it's not :/

So what I'm asking is what would you do? Do any of you have roommates? What is your experience with living with friends?
