Hey I am the mom of a 7year old and I too am an alcoholic and drug addict. 17 years ago, yesterday I made the decision to not use drugs or drink until midnight. I have done that one day at a time since then and I too, go to AA. Go to a meeting and get a desire chip and do whatever they tell you to do. I am here if you need any help at all.
