You said he has a 5 week nursing prac to get through? then I assume he is in healthcare.. he should know he needs a pdoc.

As far as medications go... everyone is different, what works for person A wont work for person B .

I hope he gets a full work up with a Pdoc . Primary Doctors simply do not know enough about Bipolar to treat it effectively .

I hope he finds a good treatment plan.
